Announcements:

We in the Blackland Prairie District would like to congratulate Troop 12 from Hutto for winning the BSA Blanco Canoe Race for the 4th year in a row on April 29th.  This one-mile race is open to all Boy Scout and Venturing units; the winning team receives a brand new canoe. In short, Troop 12 has won four (4) brand new canoes in this race, which is managed and put on by Troop 497 in Blanco. The photos below are of Troop 12 with their five canoes and remodeled canoe trailer.
The next race is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2018.  Riverside camping is available.  Any units want to challenge Troop 12?  Check out these cool photos!
